Training and Instructions

How do I care for my clothing items?

Each clothing item will have specific care instructions delivered with the order. But in general, if you're serious about preserving the life of your clothing, turn the garment inside out when washing in cold water with like colors and then air dry it with no ironing. If you're going for a more well-loved look, then at least try to wash with like colors in cold water and tumble dry on a low heat.

Or you can experiment if you're brave: If you like pink, wash whites in warm water with red clothes; if you like baby blue, wash whites in warm water with new jeans. Be your wild self!

Got wrinkels? Try this old trick I learned in college: put the garment in a dryer on lower heat with a damp (not too wet) washcloth for 10-15 minutes; the humidity can help smooth out minor wrinkles. Although not recommended, if you must iron, at least use a low heat and turn the garment inside out so you're not ironing directly on the design materials and do a spot test initially to avoid large-scale damage. How do I care for my drinkware?

  • It's best to be on the safe side with drinkware. Hand wash drinkware with warm water using non-abrasive materials to preserve designs. Dishwashers are too harsh and hot for a lot of decorative products, even on the top rack.
  • Even if you're only putting water in it, wash your drinkware at least every 3 days to avoid ickiness.
  • Do not microwave metal or insulated items; at best, you'll see a light show and ruin your appliance--at worst, you could start a fire!

How do I apply a decal?

We have a created a set of instructions that are included with each decal order, but you can also refer to the guide here. In general, clean the surface with rubbing alcohol, peel the decal backing off, apply from one side and smooth into place, then remove the clear tape. Wait 24 hours before washing to give the adhesive time to do its job.

Ordering

Can I cancel my order?

Sorry it's not working out. Since most of our orders are made to order, there's a small window where we can cancel an order if the item hasn't already been made. Reach out to us ASAP to see if your order is inside that window. If the item has already been shipped, then obviously the order can't be cancelled. But see our Return Policy for more information on possible next steps.

What if I want to speak to someone?

We're a small business, so it's difficult for us to publish a phone number. But we want to speak to you if there's a question or issue. Use our Contact us form or email us at info@twistedtraillife.com with any questions, concerns, or feedback and include your phone number. We will get back to you as soon as we can. We try not to work over the weekend or on holidays, however, so please be patient with us.

Shipping

What countries do you ship to?

We currently only ship to the United States. To inquire about shipping to a different destination, please contact us. For more information, please refer to our Shipping Policy.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Most of our items are made on site upon order, and that process can take 1-3 days. Then we ship the orders using USPS or UPS, whichever Standard shipping normally takes 3-5 days. Next day shipping is available on all domestic orders (for an additional charge). International shipping times depend on the products and destination (estimated at checkout). Can I track my order?

Sure can! Once an order has shipped, we email you a tracking code from the carrier. Also, if you create an account with us, you can track your order within your account.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return a product?

In general, you have 30 days from order delivery to initiate a return. Refer to our Return Policy for more details, terms and conditions.

How long will it take to receive my refund?

Once the entire return process has been satisfied, we initiate a refund within our payment processor's terminal. We do not have control over the many steps that occur after that, but in general it should take 2-7 days to process. If you haven't received your refund within 10 days after we've notified you of approval, please let us know. More info
