Now, a word of caution about SIZE: You might get a 12 fl oz mug, but that doesn't mean you can comfortably put 12 ounces of liquid in it--especially not HOT liquid, which burns when sloshed! (This fill misconception is true of dare I say all drinkware.) My tests on these little guys revealed that you could really only put about 10 ounces of liquid in the 12 fl oz mug. How much is 10 ounces? In my opinion, it's not much. Put it this way: I feel like the 12-ouncer isn't a "mama needs coffee STAT" mug; it's more of "your 12-year-old needs hot chocolate by the campfire" mug. If that's who you're shopping for, then awesome! But if you're looking for the "real" mug, I think you'll like the 18 oz version of the same mug. It holds about 14-15 ounces of liquid quite nicely, and 16 if you're brave. I've provided a comparison photo with a Starbucks mug and my two camp mug sizes for perspective. Starbucks's "You Are Here" series mug is 14 fl oz; I feel like it comfortably holds 12-13 ounces of liquid if you don't move too quickly.
